Founded in 2014, the Journal of Bioenergy and Food Science publishes original articles, review articles (at the invitation of the editor-in-chief), case studies and communication notes. Until 2020, the journal's editor-in-chief was professor Dr. Victor Hugo Gomes Sales.

Magazine that aims to publish original and unpublished articles, written in Portuguese, Spanish and English, in the areas of Agricultural Sciences, Food Science and Technology, Biotechnology, Bioenergy, Chemistry and Environmental Sciences.
